The Story
The story.
Player
Born and raised in Bangalore, India, Sankeerth came up through the Indian Junior National Team and competed at the World Junior Championships. He has represented Team Canada since 2019 on the sport’s biggest stages: the World Championships and World Team Championships, including the Thomas Cup and Sudirman Cup, along with multiple Pan Am Championships in both team and individual events, earning international wins and medals along the way.
Across two Olympic cycles, he spent 42 to 45 weeks a year on the international circuit, competing worldwide in pursuit of qualification for the 2020 Tokyo and 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Coach
Your child will be coached by someone who has actually been there, and that matters more than it sounds. A coach who has competed at the top knows exactly what correct technique looks like, what habits hold a player back, and how to build an athlete step by step instead of session by session. He coaches with the discipline of the international game and the patience to develop a beginner the right way.
The Project
Badminton is one of the fastest-growing sports in North America, but coaching hasn’t caught up. Most kids who love the game never get taught it properly. For every kid who gets real coaching, five or six of their friends are stuck at school level with nowhere to go next.
Talent is everywhere. Access isn’t. That’s the gap we’re here to close.
